Nautical Mile

Nearby Marina and Freeport’s Nautical Mile is well known on Long Island. Its rightful name, Woodcleft Avenue, came into existence close to three hundred years ago, when it was rumored to be a haven for bootleggers, pirates and scoundrels.

Jones Beach

Jones Beach State Park only 5 miles away. Facing the open Atlantic Ocean and furnishes one of the most popular summer recreational locations for the New York metropolitan area. It is the most popular and heavily visited beach.

Nassau Coliseum

Home of the NY Islanders and only 5 minutes by taxi or car. The coliseum features year round events including concerts, sporting events, circuses, and trade shows.

New York City

Only a 40 minute direct train ride aboard the Long Island Railroad.
